Regularly BSODs
Hey everybody,
2 weeks ago I decided to replace my old Win XP by a new Win 7. The XP installation was already 2 or more years old, and Windows froze regularly.
I bought a new additional harddisk and installed Windows 7 Professional, which worked out quite good. But since then, Windows does not freeze anymore, but nearly daily provides a Blue Screen (with changing error codes and messages).
I installed all Windows updates, I updated the video card and mainboard drivers (as far as i could) but nothing really helped until now.
By looking for hints about what to do, I found this forum and well, you all are my last hope for fixing it without having to buy a new PC.
Windows 7 is...
- x86
- not the original installed OS on the system
- a full retail version
- the age of system (hardware) is about 4,5 years
- the age of OS installation is 2 weeks
I also just did scans with Antimalwary, Avira AntiVirus and MS Security Essentials which all did not find any Virus, Worm or Trojan.
The Documents.zip attached contains Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 and the System Health Report.
So, maybe you can help me with that,
thanks a lot in advance!
