New Win 7 Installation suffering random BSOD, Freezes, Reboots
Hello All
I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit edition (full retail edition) on my HP dv4-1300 Laptop (purchaed in April 2009; 4GB RAM, Core2Duo 2.1Ghz) over the last weekend. It was an upgrade from Windows Vista 64 bit edition that was pre-installed on the laptop.
Since then, it has been very painful since the last 3 days. I constantly have had random BSODs, Freezes and reboots. Almost 1 every hour. Its so bad that I had to run the BSOD tool from this site over two reboots and a third boot to run the PERFMON report.
I thought it could be due hardware issues so downloaded most of the latest drivers from HP support. Still no respite.
Installing Office crashed twice as well.
I installed Drivermax and it practically said all drivers were outdated (included the ones at HP site). I have installed a few new drivers suggested by Drivemax but it still crashes.
My post installs include Gtalk, Skype, Yahoo, Office 2007, Chrome, MS Security Essentials and HP Laserjet 1020 printer driver.
Hopefully you guys can figure out something.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: The perfmon report is within the attached zip file
