Let's check for a driver that might be causing this, Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

There are a lot of this driver errors.
Un-install itunes if you have it installed, then see if you're still getting crashes.
itunes is known to cause crashes on Windows 7.
CD-ROM Class Filter Driver by Gear Software, Also comes with iTunes.
