There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Go to the windows log>application tab.

You want to look for critical errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.

Hello GhostintheZoid and welcome to Seven Forums.

I believe that particular error for Event Viewer FX:{b05566ad-fe9c-4363-be05-7a4cbb7cb510} means .NET Framework isn't installed. .NET Framework is included with Windows 7 so it's possible that something corrupted your system files. I'd try running System File Checker to see if you have any damaged or corrupt files. If it finds any problems run the scan 3-4 times.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    sfc /scannow

i ran sfc /scannow twice and both times it says

"Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

See if .NET Framework is listed in Control Panel > Programs and Features. It might be listed as Microsoft .NET Framework 4. If it's not listed you can get the download here:

    .NET Framework: Download

.NET Framework 4 requires that previous versions also be installed as each version builds upon the previous version. Earlier versions are at the bottom of the above Microsoft link. I'd suggest creating a Restore Point before installing each individual version "just in case".

    System Restore Point - Create
