    Windows 7 BSOD 7F

    Hello there

For the last 24 hours my laptop has been plauged with crashing every 2-30 minutes. It started all of the sudden around 13:00 yesterday. I was playing a game of Heroes of Newerth and it just shut down. When I tried rebooting it crashed again this time loading the game. After that I have gotten the blue screen just after reboot as well without having the game going or just leaving the computer passive.

I have tried resetting the computer to an earlier restore point but it fails saying the restore point is invalid.
I have tried running system update but it fails as well with different messages or it BSOD before it get time to finish.
I have run microsoft security essentials once with updated specifications which find no problem with my computer.
I have tried searching the internet for some kind of solution and found mentions that my problem 0x0000007F (0x00000008, ...) needs additional information by running Verifier.exe. However when I do that it fails to actually write the info into the dump file getting stuck at "initializing disk for ..." stage of the BSOD.
I have run HP built in memory check and it said everything was fine.
It never crashes while I am in safe mode though from which I am typing this.

My computer is 6 month old with the os that came preinstalled. I did some changes to speed up start time this wednesday but it worked fine the whole thursday and it started suddenly as I said then been reoccuring a lot.

Attaching the dump generated by jcgriff2 application.

Tried to run perfmon /report but it says search path is not valid. Is it because I am in safe mode?

Any kind of help to what this might be would be greatly appreciated and please ask more questions to what it might be.

Okay it seems like KB 981180 solved the problem for me, I have so far run it for 4h without a BSOD. I will reopen this thread if it starts crashing again.
