BSOD: Network adapter crumbles under load =(
Using:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64, installed from retail disc.
System is ~6 months old, reinstalled OS roughly 3 months ago.
The Intel 82583V NIC built into my motherboard keeps causing an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD when put under load (streaming media across network and sometimes downloading torrents). I have updated the driver to the latest available directly from intel which are supposed to resolve this with no luck. Wondering if anybody has any ideas; should I contact ASUS (onboard card) or Intel for more assistance? Install old driver? Problem started recently when family members started using network shares more often. Any high rate transmissions, especially videos, will cause this.
