Windows 7: BSOD when laptop is sleeping

01 Aug 2011   #11

Win 7 Professional x64

I uninstalled the "Intel Matrix Storage driver" and installed the "Intel Rapid Storage driver" and my laptop has behaved pretty well since. It seems that by changing the driver the turbo memory is no longer functioning, but I can't tell the differences whether turbo memory is working or not anyway.
Thanks again!

Often...

Laptop Not Sleeping
I changed the setting to not sleep when I close the lid while plugged in, however whenever I do press the sleep button on the start menu and close the lid, the laptop boots up again. Would this be a windows error that needs re installation, or is it a hardware issue? Thanks in advance
