    Update issues too!!

Hi all, am new to this forum and not computer savvy very much so forgive me. I had read lots of posts etc. about windows update issues and cannot solve my problem. I am running windows 7 Ultimate and I believe 32bit (whatever that means) I have not been able to update for months and now as a result my computer crashes a lot. BSOD (thats one term I know) From what I read the failure to update is whats causing the problem but what would I know. Anyway am throwing it open for the experts here in the hope my problem will be solved. Kaspersky AV is installed on my computer if that makes any difference. BTW some updates work and some fail. If I need to attach some sort of log of errors or whatever, let me know and will do so.
Thanks in advance for your attention and probable frustration.

Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to look at my post further? Am still getting the crashes although they haven't been as frequent in the last few days? Please have a look at the zip file I created as per the instructions and help me fix this problem.

I don't mean to be a pest, but can someone have a look at the zip file in my post and point me in the right direction please, or tell me its too complicated or something.
