    Windows not waking up from sleep


    I leave my computer running WMC and put it to sleep at night. I can see the blue light (power on) blinking slowly indicating that sleep is occurring. The next morning or sometime after the computer is put to sleep the blue light is on (not blinking) at this point there is not disk activity(red light blinking). I try to wake the computer up however nothing works, Mouse, keyboard, PS2 keyboard, Power buttton pressed fo 5 seconds, or reset button. So I have to uplug power, wait five seconds, and restart. The first thing that comes-up is "windows is resuming", then nothing, then corrupted graphics, then blank again, then a variety of windows screens, and finally a full screen of window and lots of disk activity. I have removed most non-WMC software to narrow problem and have checked to see what programs are running at night and what errors I am getting. The only thing significant is the warning about optimization (done at 2:00 AM) unable to complete due to slideshow. Any ideas.

    After sleeping a while Windows usually hibernates.
    You can reset power schemes to default using Power Plan - Restore Default Settings

    I have already tried all the various default modes for power schemes without success.

I've been trying to fix this for a couple weeks, reinstalling windows and tests hardware and nothing. Windows will work for a couple days and then randomly it'll just crash windows after turning back on. I'm thinking it's a possible driver issue but not sure. Explorer.exe will crash too if I click...
Hey all, I usually leave my computer in sleep mode, and wake it up when I need it. I almost never shut it off or restart, except when installing updates. Recently, I switched my computer on from sleep and the display remained black, although the monitor informed me there was an input signal....
(I've searched around and have seen this issue posted around on the site, but since there might be multiple causes for this, I thought it best to post this new topic. If this is incorrect, simply link me to a similar thread on the issue, and I'll post there/try that solution. Whatever makes more...
I have been using sleep mode for a while. Until recently, I had to re-install my OS due to some troubleshooting and hardware issues. Now my PC won't wake up from sleep mode with the new install. She goes to sleep, and when I try to wake her up, she powers on, for like 2 seconds and then shuts off....
Every time I put my computer to sleep, and wake it up I get a blue screen that says kernel data inpage error. If you wake it up right away it doesn't seem to happen, but after around 3 minutes it bluescreens.
