Lock up upon heavy load

    ill give that a try. ill also try restoring my BIOS to default settings. What do u mean by my system details?

    Even though freezing might not get you a dump file... The rest of the info that you could upload if you follow the posting instructions, is very usefull to us...

    Im gonna reinstall windows now. i made a few mistakes last time and this will be a great chance to fix them. ill post when im done installing. ill also run Prime95 again to see if my problem is gone. wish me luck.

    Ok i just got done reinstalling windows 7. BIOS setting are at defaults. im gonna run Prime95 and see if my problem is fixed.

    What ever it was it seems to be fixed now. I've ran prime95 twice now in 3 hour sessions with no freeze. I'm gonna keep testing as I reinstall programs. If it starts up again I will post. So far so good!

    I just go done installing a few programs, the. I ran prime95 again and my computer locked up. However, sense I only installed a few programs I can easily find the problem one. I'll post again soon
