BSOD Driving me Crazy. Plz Help

I've gotten the BSOD 3 times this morning. No idea what's going on. For the past week or so i've gotten it once or twice.

New computer. Only 3-4 months old.
Fresh Install of the OS 3 months ago with my own Win 7 disc.

I was also having BSOD issues when I first installed the OS on my new computer. Then I went about a month without any issue.

    Thanks

I strongly suspect a problem with your Kaspersky Internet Security as being the most likely cause of your problems. There are other issues to investigate, but the Kaspersky stands out in my mind because of it's presence in the first (oldest) memory dump.

Here's a listing of the older drivers that were present when the crash occurred:
OLDER DRIVERS PRESENT IN THE DUMP FILES
    - Create a System Restore Point prior to doing any of this. DO NOT mess with the drivers themselves - leave the Windows\System32\drivers directory alone unless we specifically direct you to it!
    - Please update these drivers from the device manufacturer's website - or uninstall them from your system. Reference links are included below.
    - DO NOT use Windows Update or the Update Drivers function of Device Manager.
    - Please feel free to post back about any drivers that you are having difficulty locating.
    - Windows Update exceptions may be noted below for Windows drivers:

Thanks i'll go through it sometime today.

I clicked on a few just to see and I have a question. What should I do about Kaspersky drivers? I didn't realize they could be downloaded individually...

edit: and this is more for my general knowledge, but how do "older" drivers cause problems such as these and what's the best way to keep up with the updates?

They can't be downloaded individually (well, not easily at least) But the table is structured to identify individual drivers rather than problem programs. I've gotta figure out a way to spell this out in the table without making it too long.

Older drivers are more likely to cause problems - but are not inherently "bad".
In general, older drivers can be bad in several ways (as can newer drivers, they're just less likely to be bad):
    - incompatibility (weren't designed with the OS in mind)
    - corrupted files
    - aged design (skipped some step that's crucial to a particular version of a particular OS)

As for Kaspersky (and other A/V products) - they are paid for, so you usually have to pay to update them to the latest version. That being the case, we usually recommend TEMPORARILY removing the antivirus and replacing it with a free version. Then, when the troubleshooting is done, you can reinstall the paid for antivirus and update it normally and it should work OK.

I've tried all sorts of driver updaters and never have found a satisfactory solution.
    What I do now is....nothing.
    I update drivers:
    - when problems appear with my system
    - when Service Packs are released
    - when I have trouble with Windows Updates

Gotcha. Well i've installed a couple of the easy to get driver updates such as Intel Graphics, Synaptics, and audio.

So would just uninstalling/reinstalling Kaspersky do the trick?

Haven't gotten a BSOD since i've posted, but if I do i'll be sure to post it

Uninstalling/reinstalling Kaspersky will most likely do the trick BUT don't assume that it'll work!!!
Here's what I'd suggest (for testing if it's Kaspersky):
    - make sure Kaspersky definitions are updated
    - wait for further BSOD's
    - if they happen, then uninstall Kaspersky and install a free antivirus TEMPORARILY
    - if that cures the BSOD's, then install a fresh copy of Kaspersky (download the trial of the latest version from their website, it'll let you enter your product key and activate the product in most cases)
    - wait for further BSOD's

Well I did an updated Kaspersky from the application itself. I'll wait for any more BSODs and report back.

That was just a crazy morning. I literally had 4-5 BSODs in a 2hr time span. It was the first time since I first got the computer a few months ago and I had an issue with a driver.

Please start with these free diagnostics:
I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests. They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:
    H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link) - Test ALL of the hard drives.

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Resources (read the details at the link)
There are also free, bootable antivirus disks at this link: Free Online AntiMalware Resources
Post back with the results and we'll move on from there.
