Could this be a problem with your DNS server(s)?

Check your video card:
- see if any power connectors are firmly seated
- see that the fan is spinning freely
- see that the cooler is clear and free of dust/dirt
- see that airflow is letting cool air get into the video card cooler

There's many of these Warnings (which could, IMO, be a cause of this freeze) 30-40 entries within one (1) minute:

This error concerns me as it sounds like something is trying to gain access to your system. Have you scanned for malware? Have you visited any sites that would try to attack your system?

Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare is crashing regularly, please uninstall it until we're done troubleshooting. When you reinstall it, please immediately get the latest patches for it. The error is a memory access error (c0000005), so it's likely to be a driver/application that's misbehaving - and it's likely related to the gaming.

This error suggests to me that my previous recommendations for drivers are likely to be the "fix" for your problems. Other possibilities are that there are problems in the storage sub-system that could be hardware based, compatibility, or software.

Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program Windows Explorer because of this error.

Program: Windows Explorer
File:

The error value is listed in the Additional Data section.
User Action
1. Open the file again. This situation might be a temporary problem that corrects itself when the program runs again.
2. If the file still cannot be accessed and
- It is on the network, your network administrator should verify that there is not a problem with the network and that the server can be contacted.
- It is on a removable disk, for example, a floppy disk or CD-ROM, verify that the disk is fully inserted into the computer.
3. Check and repair the file system by running CHKDSK. To run CHKDSK, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the command prompt, type CHKDSK /F, and then press ENTER.
4. If the problem persists, restore the file from a backup copy.
5. Determine whether other files on the same disk can be opened. If not, the disk might be damaged. If it is a hard disk, contact your administrator or computer hardware vendor for further assistance.

Additional Data
Error value: 00000000
Disk type: 0
This is likely to be the security access problem that I mentioned earlier:

It looks like Windows Live is causing registry issues. Please uninstall all Live stuff from your system. Reinstall the latest version if you need it.

Thanks for the help, the nvstor64 warnings looked intresting and I removed the nvidia storage drivers and reverted back to the windows default one, so far no crashes.
