Dell XPS 15 Blank Screen and error Status: 0xc00000e9
I have Dell XPS 15, (L501x) laptop. I dropped it and then the screen turned off but the laptop was still on. I tired moving my mouse thinking that the screen would turn back on. Then I turned my laptop off by pressing the turn on/off button.
Then I turned my laptop on again and the login bit showed but the screen resolution was down and the screen but showed large (meaning the view was pixelated and the view was streched). The user name and the password entering text box was off screen and not visible. The OS then displayed a Finding solution error box or someting like that. After finding a solution it told me to restart by clicking the finish button. I clicked on finish and the screen went blank and the laptop didnt turn off so i forcefully turned it off by pressing the on/off button.
But my problem is that when I turned on my laptop again the dell's loading screen appears and the loading bar loads up full but then after that the screen went blank (its on but black) and doesnt show anything. After about 10/15 mins the Status: 0xc00000e9 error and said that windows has encountered a problem while connecting with a device connected to your computer.
The error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device ..... and so on.
Ok . i did a diagnostics test from Boot Options by pressing F12 and it showed me that there IS a error with my Hard Drive.
Error Code: 0142
Error Code: 2000-0142
Status: 79
Please help me over here. Thankyou.
