    Need help fixing BSOD.

    Hello everyone.
As you can probably tell, I'm new to this site.
I've tried to find the solution to my BSOD problems by myself, but I don't even know where to begin. There just seem to be too many variables that play a role in causing my BSOD.

    Anyway, here's my story:

I built my own custom computer using parts from Newegg.
    Specs
    - Antec 900 case
    - Cooler Master Hyper 212+ cpu cooler
    - EVGA GTX 550 Ti
    - i5-2500k
    - ASRock Extreme4 P67 motherboard
    - G. Skill 2x 2GB DDR3 RAM
    - Western Digital Caviar Green 500GB hard drive
    - Corsair GS 600 power supply
    - Asus DVD drive

This computer will come with me to college.

This computer is about 5 weeks old. The first 3 weeks that I've used it, it has worked flawlessly. For the last week, it has started showing signs of trouble. The BSOD first occurred on July 27. On that day, I only had one BSOD and I thought nothing of it. However, the attacks started becoming more frequent, and I'm scared my computer is dying.

I'm not really a techie kind of guy. I mean, I built the computer, but I know nothing about how it really works.

I've attached the files, and I'm hoping someone can help me out. I hope it's just a problem with my RAM, or hard drive (I don't have anything important on it) because I can easily replace those through Newegg.

Also, I think my web browsers and drivers have something to do with my BSOD attacks. For some strange reason, Firefox 5 randomly crashes on me. I try to reopen it, but it just keeps on crashing. The only way to fix this is by restarting my computer. I read somewhere that it could be a font (??) problem, or something, but I don't know how to fix that either. Sometimes when Firefox crashes, I try to use Internet Explorer, only to find out that it too refuses to open. They crash at the most random times (like when I click a link to watch a YouTube video). I have a feeling my graphics card drivers are also playing a role in my crashes.

If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd had to have to lose money on my already low college budget!

    Thanks in advance.

There are missing drivers for your motherboard. Please visit the Asrock website and install the chipset drivers for your motherboard.

Ensure that you're not using Vista drivers for your wireless card. They can cause problems with wireless devices in Win7.

    21 memory dumps in 5 days - that's a lot!
There a 6 different BSOD error codes
    And 5 different causes blamed.

One is your antivirus, so I'd download a fresh copy - then uninstall the current copy and install the freshly downloaded copy.

The others are suggestive of hardware problems, so I'd try this:
I suggest starting all troubleshooting with the following diagnostic tests. They'll save you a lot of time and heartache if there is a hardware failure, and you'll have the disks on hand in case you need them in the future:
    H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link) - Test ALL of the hard drives.

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Resources (read the details at the link)
There are also bootable antivirus disks at this link: Free Online AntiMalware Resources
Also, please update/remove these drivers (pay particular attention to those in RED)

OLDER DRIVERS PRESENT IN THE DUMP FILES
    - Create a System Restore Point prior to doing any of this. DO NOT mess with the drivers themselves - leave the Windows\System32\drivers directory alone unless we specifically direct you to it!
    - Please update these drivers from the device manufacturer's website - or uninstall them from your system. Reference links are included below.
    - DO NOT use Windows Update or the Update Drivers function of Device Manager.
    - Please feel free to post back about any drivers that you are having difficulty locating.
    - Windows Update exceptions may be noted below for Windows drivers:

    Thanks for the response!

This morning I opened up my machine and unplugged/replugged all the cables and stuff. There's no dust in my system since it's still pretty new.

Anyway, I just got home and I'm updating my drivers. I will run the diagnostic tests in a couple of minutes.

Also, I'm having a new problem now. Every couple of minutes, I get a popup stating that "Cryptographic Services has stopped working." And when I click View Details, I see: Files that help describe the problem:

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue\AppCrash_svchost.exe_Cryp_87c937b36b24687b93cc31aff adf3824e38732_cab_0e20d394\WERD336.tmp.appcompat.txt
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue\AppCrash_svchost.exe_Cryp_87c937b36b24687b93cc31aff adf3824e38732_cab_0e20d394\WERD337.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue\AppCrash_svchost.exe_Cryp_87c937b36b24687b93cc31aff adf3824e38732_cab_0e20d394\WERD378.tmp.mdmp

Does anyone know what this is? I've never heard of "Cryptographic Services" before, so I'm kind of confused.

    Thanks again.

Don't worry about the crypto services just yet. The diagnostics will tell us a lot - bad RAM, a bad HDD, or malware can all cause problems with the cryptography stuff.

If you can find this file:
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue\AppCrash_svchost.exe_Cryp_87c937b36b24687b93cc31aff adf3824e38732_cab_0e20d394\WERD378.tmp.mdmp
Zip it up and upload it with your next post for us to have a look at.

    Hi
    Thanks again for the response.

I ended up not doing the diagnostics. I read the info on the links and it seems as though it takes a long time! I'm going to wait until tonight, so the diagnostic tests can run while I sleep.

Also--I was unable to find the file. I have no idea where to look. I'm looking inside C:\ but I don't see anything that would lead me to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows....etc. Are there hidden folders or something?

I got a couple of more blue screens today. I'm attaching the files (like in my original post). I think they're different than the ones I've been having for the past week. If someone could take a look at them (the dump files from today) and see what's wrong, I'd greatly appreciate it!

    Thank you so much.

Yes, they're usually in hidden folders.

    4 memory dumps
    3 different BSOD error codes
This is usually a hardware problem, and the diagnostics will give us a start at identifying it.

    wacommousefilter.sys Fri Feb 16 13:12:17 2007 (45D5F401)
This driver is still outdated, dating from 2007. It should be updated in order to make sure that there's not an issue with it.
