    Complete Freezes in Games

Hi, so I've been having this problem for a bit of time now but it hasn't been all that frequent but nonetheless it is really annoying. So most of the time if not all of the time it happens in video games e.g Just Cause 2, Amnesia, Mass Effect 2, and pretty much all the games on my Steam library so like 35-40 games.

What happens is the screen freezes and the mouse doesn't move ctrl alt del doesn't work and it is just frozen on where I was in the game when it happened. Sometimes it can have a little freeze where it comes back shortly after but that is very rare over the other freezes. Whenever it freezes I press the backlight button on my Logitech G19 and if the lights go off on it then it's either the game had an error or it is just a 5 second freeze, but if when I press it the lights stay on but the LCD screen on the keyboard goes black then I know that I have to press the restart button on my tower.

I have waited plenty of time and tried ctrl alt del to see if that works but to no avail only restarting the computer works. I keep my computer fairly clean and it doesn't get hot and I only did a clean install a couple weeks ago.

Any help and ideas to see if I can fix this problem would be appreciated.

Hello Radster, sorry we took a long time and of course, welcome to SF!

Both these dumps have a bugcheck 24 code. Usually connected to the harddisk (HW and/or Drivers / BIOS).

However, your drivers and logs show some extra info:
I would (as a test) deinstall your AVG stuff. We encounter lots of problems with W7.
Please see these links for uninstalling your AV:
Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software - ESET Knowledgebase
    or here

Ultimate Collection of Uninstallers / Removal Tools for All Popular Anti-Virus Software - Tweaking with Vishal

    Then reboot.
Sometimes these uninstallers do not remove all they should out of Registry:
Run CCleaner, both regular and registry.
You have multiple errors and unclear driver issues that could be due to an interrupted Windows Update process:
Please go to your Maintenance Center and check the Windows Update status. Make sure you are up to date, do them one by one manually if needed.
For help or reset see: Windows Update - Reset
Finally, when all that is ok and you still have problems: start with a test of your harddisk:
For a full diagnostic of your HD that goes beyond Chkdsk, see:
    HD Diagnostic

Next install your preferred AV immediately. In this case try Avast! or MSE temporarily till you are sure you are stable

Yeah, Samsung support through their site is not easy to get through. Please give me the exact model/serialnumber of that HDD?
