BSOD - help needed - Win7 (64bit)

Can anyone help?
I keep getting Blue Screen of Death on Windows7 64bit.
Here is my hardware spec.
Motherboard: Intel DP55WB (MA TX)
Processor: Intel Core I5 750 2.66GHz
RAM: 8GB = (2GB 1066 DDR3 Memory) x4 modules
Hard disk: Seagate 500Gb, RPM: 7200, Cache:32MB, SATA (BOOT MENU: ST3500320NS - 500.1GB)
Seagate "Barracuda ES.2 SATA 3.0-Gb/s 500-GB Hard Drive"
Spin speed: 7,200 RPM
Inteface: SATA 3Gb/s

P.S. Please note that before I ran the BSOD Dump & System file colleciton app, I had recently restored my system to a point that was about a month old (at which point my Windows7 was stable)
Please also please note that my Windows Explorer and Control Panel are suddenly not working!
So I shall reboot and see what happens.
I think that I shall now also install the latest patches (being as my restore was to a point that is now about 1 month old...)
