0xF4 BSOD issue on new computer

Hey guys,

About a month ago, I built a mostly new rig with the following specs:

AsRock Z68 Extreme4
Intel i7 2600K
2x4GB Kingston HyperX T1
120GB OCZ Agility 3

Reusing the following items from my old pc, these have been working for years without trouble:

nVidia GeForce GTX 260
Corsair T520W PSU
2 spinning harddrives

The BSOD in question you can see in the attached minidump files. What happens is one of two things:

a) The computer crashes shortly after boot, while only a browser is active.
b) The computer is stable for a while, then I get an error about windows failing to put something into memory, and that explorer.exe and other windows components suddenly arent valid applications.

Other times, the computer is completely stable. I have never ever seen it crash while gaming, its only while browsing web or other light usage.

So far I have tried the following to fix it:
Changed graphics drivers
Changed sound drivers
Updated all motherboard-related drivers
BIOS update
Firmware for ssd update
Manually setting clock speed for memory, as bios wasnt detecting proper speed.

The windows version im using is Windows 7 Professional x64, kindly supplied by my college.

Regarding hardware tests, chkdisk finds nothing, memtest86 has completed 6 passes with no faults, and Prime95 couldn't crash my CPU.

Any suggestions?

I see indications that your mcaffe firewall may be causing some issues.
It wouldn't hurt to make double sure you have the latest drivers for your creative labs audio card either.
They're early 2008 which would put them as vista or win 7 beta drivers, I'm pretty sure you can get something newer.
all the 'log me in' stuff is dated, but I don't know of it causing any specific problems, just making you aware.

Anyhow what we are seeing here is a critical service exception. It's very unlikely it is hardware based more likely software (the mcafee) or a driver issue.
Temporarily removing mcaffe and seeing if the problem decreases or goes away will point to it rather quickly.
I do suggest looking into newer drivers for your creative labs device/audio card as well.

I don't think there's anything you can do about the logmein stuff.

oh and just incase you don't know what csrss.exe is it's part of the core windows foundation and is always listed as the faulting app in this type of crash. So don't read too much into that. http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/pr...csrss.exe.html

Code:
Probably caused by : csrss.exe

Windows 7 Professional x64

I've tried removing McAfee now, as well as reinstalling the newest creative drivers.

The crash pattern has been very random, often with days in between crashes, so it might take a bit before I report back.

Hey again,

After following the given advice and testing for a period of time, my problem still has not been resolved. It reports the BSOD slightly different now, but it still crashes. It doesn't do the slowdown thingie anymore, just goes *pow* randomly when I'm not doing anything intensive on it. Perfectly stable while gaming, unstable when viewing videos, listening to music or browsing web.

Attached are a new set of logs - Only the minidumps later than 9th of august are relevant. Hopefully you guys can see something in them.

Okay, so. I've had a couple of BSOD's today while doing video work using quicksync, another one while ripping a disc, and then I manually did one using the USB keyboard kernel dump of ctrl + scroll lock twice, and then, upon reboot, it BSODs before login 3 times. Everything before the manual...
