    BSOD NDIS.sys

Giday all. I am currently at war with windows, and windows is winning
it would appear I either have a bug or virus that has resulted in the PC running slow and me having to double click on ok buttons etc, just odd behavoir.
    The PC is realivly new
    MB: Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P
AMD CPU, dont know which one, if needed I will find out some how
    4 gig of ram
    Recent changes
I have installed Kaspersky Pure to chase up the running slow, odd behavior and was given a clean bill of health on the scan
windows has gone mad with installing updates.
I have returned the system restor to an earlier time, windows beats me to the updates. I have been unable to turn the updater off because I have been unable to start the system since the BSOD errors started occuring
    to the BSOD
here is what is on the screen

    Stop:
Driver irql not less or equal
    stop:0x000000D1(0x0000000000000010,0x00000000000000002,0x0000000000000000,0xFFFFF880014BA5D6)
    NDIS.sys Address FFFFF880014BA5D6 base at FFFFF8800148C000, datestamp 4A5bc184
    OS version 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Thanks in advance for your help, I hope I have all the info needed in this post

This crash was Related to athrx.sys Extensible Wireless LAN device driver from Atheros Communications, Inc.. I would re-install newest as yours is from before win 7 was released.

Of note. I would also remove

Kaspersky and replace with Microsoft security essentials

    http://support.kaspersky.com/downloa...vremover10.zip

Virus, Spyware & Malware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials

    And CSVirtualDiskDrv.sys.
