Bsod
After recently changing my msconfig settings for boot up time / memory usage, I restarted my laptop and got this BSOD.
It says:
-----A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO
If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new instillation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options, and the select Safe Mode.

I have a Samsung R580 Laptop
Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit
2.13 GHz i3 processor
NVidia Geforce with Cuda graphics chip
4GB DDR3 Ram
I've had this laptop for about 2 years (give or take some), and it has always had issues. Therefore I started making backups to be saved on my D drive. I have no idea how to restore them or even if I created them properly.
I'm a Noob, so please use easy language to understand!
Thanks,
Michael.
