Hi,
Its been 3 weeks of stability since my last bsod and out of the blue there was a system update on Tuesday. After the system update all hell broke loose again. 5 Bsods in a row and I cannot figure out the problem. The last string of bsods also happened during system updates. I wonder if there is a connection. I hope somebody can help me as this is very problematic. I have attached a zip file for anyone that can help me. Thank you.

Two really obvious problems
1-ASACPI.SYS
The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.SYS file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).
2-SPTD.SYS
This is another large cause used by daemon tools and alcohol120
Remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.
They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.
Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done:DuplexSecure - Downloads
You can use MagicDisc as an alternative.

It seems ASACPI.SYS is the cause of the bsods again this time. The last time you helped me(on another topic on this board), this driver seemed to be the problem. I have replaced the driver since then but for some reason it came up again. It can also be an old dump you analyzed, and I have corrected the problem by now.
This time another driver seems to have caused the Bsods. I have removed that driver as of today. It has been two weeks since I was able to access this computer and so far it has been stable. I will keep you posted on the stability. Once again, thanks.
