    BSOD Problem (IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE)


    Hey everyone. I recently purchased an Alienware m17x Gaming Laptop, and had no issues until today. I updated my Bigfoot Killer Network Driver, and started getting the BSOD with the message IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE

    Booting into safe mode is fine, and I have uninstalled and re-installed my Wireless Network Adapter, from both the Dell and Bigfoot websites, with no change what so ever. I simply boot up windows, log in, and everything seems fine. Then when I try to maybe open a file, connect to the internet, or on a random website, open skype, I get the BSOD. It can vary, but it happens within the first few minutes of booting up.

    The specs are as follows:

    Alienware m17x R3 Gaming Laptop
    Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
    BIOS: InsydeH2O Version 1.0 A06
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2720QM CPU @ 2.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
    RAM: 16gb
    Video Card: Radeon 6990m (Shows up as just Radeon 6900m series in dxdiag)

    And attached is my BSOD error report.

    Hello McFlurry, welcome to SF!

    First thing to fix:
    HTML Code:
    Security Processor Loader Driver    ROOT\LEGACY_SPLDR\0000    This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
G19 Gaming Keyboard (Display interface)    USB\VID_046D&PID_C229&MI_00\8&209A3361&0&0000    The drivers for this device are not installed.
    Also check your McAfee install, the dumps have a problem with it and that could possibly cause crashes too. Is unsure... as a test.. de-install and temporarily try MSE or Avast! (both are free).

    Then reboot.
    Sometimes these uninstallers do not remove all they should out of Registry:
    Run CCleaner, both regular and registry.

    Next install your preferred AV immediately.
    One of your dumps points to AODDriver2, that is a part of OC software for your board. If OC-ing and unstable. turn back to defaults first. fix the above and OC in careful steps on a stable system....

    Post back any results please...

    Thanks for all your help! Everything seems to be working smooth. I forgot to install the G19 Software, so I started there. Went ahead and replaced my old AV with Avast, then ran CCleaner (Already had it installed)

    Everything seems to be working great! I cant thank you enough. I'll know where to go any time I or any of my friends have any problems
