    Computer won't boot

This morning when I wanted to use my computer it couldn't start Windows. I turned on my computer and on my screen appears the brand of my computer. After that it should start Windows 7, but instead an flashing underscore appears in the top left part of my screen. That's it.
I already tried to use safe mode, but that didn't work because Windows couldn't started after all.

I had this kind of event before and I reinstalled Windows on my computer. I tried that twice. But now, it occures once again. Is my hard drive broken? Or my motherboard?

    Hello Rampo, welcome to SF!

have you tried booting with a repair (or, if not available, original W7) disc in? Can you get in BIOS to set boot sequence on DVD first?

You could try booting into the windows recovery environment using Windows 7 Boot CD and select the option Command prompt (cmd) and run chkdsk /r. It could be bad sectors in the HDD
