BSOD Issues
FYI, this is one of my desktops, not my laptop listed in my profile. It's an HP Pavilion a6347c.
- x64
- Original OS was Vista 32-bit. I formatted and did a full install to 7 Pro 64.
- Full Retail
- What is the age of system (hardware)? - Approx. 3.5 to 4 years.
- What is the age of OS installation - Approx. 1.5 years.
Also, installed a D-Link (approx. 7 years old) wireless network card approx. 6 months ago. I uninstalled that approx. 3 months ago, as well as uninstalled the device manager hardware listings, as well. The BSOD's seemed to slow down or stop after that.
Today, I also uninstalled MagicISO, the driver, and any references to it, as I saw where that has caused a lot of BSOD issues, as well.
Last, I noticed the System Health Report states I do not have any anti-virus program installed. I do have Windows Security Essentials, and my Security center shows that it is on and up to date.
Thanks for any and all help in advance!
Regards,
BfB
