BSOD several times a day

The most consistent BSOD is when the machine is coming back from sleep. I hit the mouse and the power light goes off. Re-booting gives me the error message showing there was a BSOD.

Also, it hung up running the WinNT6_BSOD_jcgriff utility, so this dump may not be complete

- the original installed Vista - but I did a reformat and clean install of Win 7 Pro 2 years ago

Other than the usual updates (Java, flash etc) I can't recall anything new or unusual. The built in cd drive has not worked consistently for a long time so that is the best guess as to where my issues lie.

Appears that DXG Kernel call to ATI driver failing - possibly ATI driver not starting.

That's a start, but I can't find evidence that there is any ATI driver. My best recollection from when I did more maintenance is that is a graphics driver, but all that is listed in my "devices" and "add/remove" is Microsoft. I searched all of the devices and can't figure out where ATI comes into play at all.

Can you point me in the right direction?

Check if you are using the latest video device driver and that the driver is correctly matched to the video adapter model.
