BSOD ATI or kernal power? Trying 2 find solution

    My Spec's
Dell XPS Studio 9100 Build Date 12-15-2010
    CPU : Core i7-980X Extreme 3.33 Ghz
    OS : Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
    Memory : 12.0GB Video Card : ATI - HD5970 2GB GDDR5.
Audio : ATI High Definition Audio / Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio
Monitor : HP 2710 Series Wide LCD
Disk Drive : Barracudaź XT Desktop Hard Drives Disk : ST32000641AS 2TB

I usually see hundreds of the the errors in the event viewer
    WHEA Logger ID#17
    Distributed Com
    kernal power
    kernal processor power error
    ACEEventlog

in the event viewer along with the the system will randomly rebooting, and sometimes it will hard lock and then have to reboot goes into safe mode then I end up runing restore and will start backup. Sometimes I will be sitting here doing nothing at the time on the computer and you will hear it shut off out of the blue no BSOD and have even had to pull the power and then replug in the power and it will finally start other times I just get the BSOD.

My system has done this since I received it back in Dec 2010 it started about 2 weeks after receiving what I was hoping was a good system. Yet another quality product and of course the nice offshore suppport is enough to know once again I will not buy another Dell feeding the share holders who want, cheap parts and cheap support = BIG $$$ in their pockets which = very unhappy customers. We all need to stop feeding the share holders who really run the company and can care less about quality!
Hoping someone else has had this issues and a solution.

Well I should learn buying another Dell first of all!
I have and have almost given up until whatever totally crashes. Dell will not help seeing no errors in the device manager, even thou I WASTED my money on a warranty. They are saying it's probably software related. I should of started back in Jan complaining non-stop. Instead I have just performed restores and have been able to get it restarted. Sometimes all I have to do is power down and pull the power, wait a few then restart. It seems to be getting worse the last few months and have to perform a restore and sometimes a BSOD screen other times it comes up to the windows symbol and just freezes then have to pull the power wait then plug power in and restart.

    Cheers,

No DMP files included in upload please try this method.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

    The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

    To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.
