    Hi ready1965,

My suggestion is to enable Driver Verifier following this guide and letting your computer bsod a couple more times while it's enabled. Guide= Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable after the computer bsods at least twice disable driver verifier by opening the program again and deleting the settings either in normal mode or safe mode if you can't in normal mode.

Latest crash dump is pointing to usbfilter.sys and that is something I tried to track down for your system but it's a driver that is usually comes with a chipset driver package. So that being the case we have to do a couple of things. I would like you to visit this website: Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / Aspire / Aspire 7551 at the top of the page there is a detection tool that reads: Download Hardware Vendor Detection Utility . You will most likely have to use IE8 or IE9 for this detection utility to work. I want you to update all the driver for your computer including the bios to your computer to the latest versions. Now the bios has instructions on how to do that usually within the .zip file package that you download, if you have questions or need help you know where I'll be :).

    Hi Seth,

I updated everything including the bios. Should/could this fix my problem?

More than likely Drivers and Hardware going bad are the number one cause of bsod's but if the bios is not compliant with windows 7 everything goes to hell in a hand basket sort of speak. Since windows 7 communicates with bios constantly the bios has to be update to be compliant with windows 7 commands and vice versa, that being said plus your drivers being updated correctly I would say the issues should cease or at least be easier to pinpoint if they don't. If you have any more problems feel free to upload the dump files again but I'm hoping you'll be good to go..
