BSOD BugCheck 1000007E occurs time to time (not under load), need help

Hello, i just registered to this forum. I upgraded my hardware from AMD AM2+ platform to AMD AM3+, so basicly i changed my motherboard and memory( Asus M5A9, kingston 1333 4x4Gb), everything else is the same - CPU- AMD Phenom X6 1055, GPU- Gigabyte HD5830, OLD HDD (more than 3 years im sure, mb 5years) Seagate Sata 500GB. My previous system which was Gigabyte AM2+ MA790GX+Apacer 800mhz 8Gb DDR2 was fine and no BSODs ever.
Oh and becouse i have an IDE dvd and cdrom devices i bought PCI/ide adapter. Havent put the driver for it yet .

The thing is that i use the old OS, ussualy i do backup of my data and put it on an external HDD and than i format the HDD and put the fresh OS with all the drivers. So i feal that it might be of a drivers conflict of somesort, ive researched forums and ppl say that mb increase the voltage for the memory becouse all slots are filled but i never touched the voltage settings so i dont know how the memory voltage even called .
Ive done tests i did use OCCT linpack for 30 mins and it was stable and fine, use my 3d graphics app's to fill all the ram and under huge lag it still worked fine and no BSOD after.
BSOD happened id say more in idle times: surfing the web in google chrome i had few unusual messages about something cannot allocate memory 3 times in 2 mins and than finaly BSOD'd. Second time i had a strange issue - no sound again after 8-10 hours of fine work, i clicked on realtek driver and it said failed to :something: the device and in 10 sec BSOD.
Yesterday again in the evening while doing allmoust nothing just again surfing the internet for the same problems with my aimp player playing i had a strange music LOOP and BSOD. PLEASE help

if u want i can post the dmp files that i saved as txt files of their info from the Debugging Tools for Windows (x64), hope this will give u ther necessary info.
By the way i ziped the information using 7-zip, just in case.

ADD: dont read about the crash/problems that dates in 2010, i had a faulty video card and a buggy processor Phenom 1 9600 if im not mistaken the name.

    MC Hi and welcome

These three were related to a memory exception (probably caused by a driver)

Please run these two tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

    1-Memtest.

*Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

*Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

    RAM - Test with Memtest86+

    2-Driver verifier

I'd suggest that you first backup your data and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the Vista/Win7 Startup Repair feature).

In Windows 7 you can make a Startup Repair disk by going to Start....All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc - with Windows Vista you'll have to use your installation disk or the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu .

    Then, here's the procedure:
    - Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
    - Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
    - Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
    - Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
    - Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
    - Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

If you can't get into Windows because it crashes too soon, try it in Safe Mode.
If you can't get into Safe Mode, try using System Restore from your installation DVD to set the system back to the previous restore point that you created.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Also please run the update readiness tool and update to SP-1

    * Download > Install > Run the System Update Readiness Tool

Ensure you install the correct 64 or 32bit option for your system)

Download the System Update Readiness Tool (64bit)
Download the System Update Readiness Tool (32bit)

Thank you for a fast reply, i will first do the fresh OS with fresh drivers, after that i will do the memory tests, becouse the BSODS happened like 1 in a day ( after 8-10 hours of work) it will take me one or few days to know for sure will it give an effect or not ( i mean the fresh OS+drives) but offcourse i will post the results of memtest. And again thank you.

UPDATE: After formating HDD, putting new OS (windows 7 ultimate Sp1, x64) and puting the latest drivers and updating the bios from version 500 to the last 700. While puting basic essential apps i had BSOD while listening to stream video on youtube(just after starting one in 30secs, sound loop and BSOD).

    BUGCHECK_STR: 0xDE
    POOL_CORRUPTION_IN_FILE_AREA (de)
    IMAGE_NAME: ntkrnlmp.exe

A driver corrupted pool memory used for holding pages destined for disk.
This was discovered by the memory manager when dereferencing the file.

I found strange but thought it was in my head but now i see its not a coinsidence That i find some as if "choking" while loading pages or loading stream video (i dont mean buffering, its like systems stops after fews seconds after i skipped to someplace in a stream video), so i wonder do i need to test and increase the voltage from 1.5v to 1.6v?

Anyway if that is not a the variant than its the faulty motherboard ( one of its memory slots) or a faulty memory stick.

UPDATE: Memtest goes so slow, i figured it would take at the moust 2 hours for one stick to complete all 7 passes but no, just 2 passes and if if i have 3 more sticks that will just take me almoust a week (joking) and puting the pc over night testing isnt an option becouse pc is a bit laud. So ive done a 1-2 pass test with all the sticks and none gave an error.
Additionaly ive found in the other forums that asus ai suit utility app can cause all sorts of trouble and i found that my opera browser kept crashing on me becouse of the the main file that belongs to that app, so i killed it, deleted the entries from the register and erased the remaining folder. Now im gona do wait for a BSOD and if that happeneds ill just leave 1 stick on, and see what happens. BTW the verifier featured didnt do nothing but again i didnt leave my pc on for the night so that doesnt count i guess.

Sorry for double posting. Ive tried everything and in the end thought to change the ram. But i found the solution. Its the gaged/ungaged feature. Ive set it in the BIOS as DISABLED and no BSODs and the system goes absolutely stable now.

    CLOSE THE TOPIC PLZ.
