Windows 7: BDOS playing a game

BDOS playing a game

Hello, I been having this issue for like ever.

In a game called Elder Scrolls Of Oblivion, I get a blue screen while playing it.
Only seems to be this 1 game doing it.
I have played other games with higher system requirements with no issue.

This blue screen can happen:
As soon as I get into the game it self (load file or start new)
Or it can happen shortly after
OR happen way later on
OR not happen at all.

Also to add: before bluescreen comes, the screen goes all black, then changes colors (full screen color, like red, blue green ext...) and u can hear the game sound for a bit as well.

Windows 7 64bit
- the original installed OS on the system? Windows Vista
- an OEM or full retail version? I got a windows 7 upgrade disc from the acer company free, no longer use vista.
- What is the age of system (hardware)? About 2 years.

Spec info:
Video Card: ATI Mobility Radeaon HD 4670
Processor: Intel Core 2 DUo CPU
Memory: 4G
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio

I attach all the other BDOS files needed with all the info.

Ask for any other info!!

Thbis one crash was Related to atipmdag.sys Radeon Kernel Mode Driver from ATI Technologies Inc..


I would re-install the newest driver using this method.

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using

Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

something I should add is the driver that comes with windows 7 upgrade disk is the latest drivers, since the video card is 2 in 1, only the drivers made by Acer will work (correct me if I'm wrong)

SO I think this method might not effect it, BUT i'll try it anyways.


BACK, remembering i did this already but did it again anyways, with failure..
