StartupRepairOffline: CorruptFile Error Lacks Helpful Info

I am troubleshooting a computer that has Windows 7 and will not boot. POST runs fine, then the machine comes to "Starting Windows", hangs for a second, then boots on its own to Startup Repair functionality. The error presented is as follows:

Problem Event Name: StartupRepairOffline
Problem Sig 1: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Sig 2: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Sig 3: unknown
Ptrobel Sig 4: 21201028
Problem Sig 5: AutoFailover
Problem Sig 6: 11
Problem Sig 7: Corrupt File

Local ID: 1033

System Restore did not resolve this issue either.

So now we're off to the manual file repair and/or replacement; but I get no information from the error as to which file is corrupt. Is there any logging done to tell you what the corrupt file is? I tried to enable Boot Logging and it didn't output anything to ntbtlog.txt.

General Discussion
Alright so I was just using my computer, when a MSE dialogue popped up telling me that it had detected a threat, so I just told it to take care of it and it went away and fixed the problem. However, About 10 minutes later, the computer just crashed, just restarted by itself, and could not boot...

Windows Media Player 12 lacks Synth
I've been exploring and looking for it but I don't seem to find it, I did my research too but I found that downgrading to Meda Player 11 is the most likely answer, which seems a rather difficult trick to pull off, is there any patch that makes the synth visible? or should I just downgrade? or just...
