BSOD on HP laptop, system just ran disk check on startup
Three days ago my girlfriend got a random BSOD on her laptop. This was the first time this has happened on her computer.
Today, I turned on the laptop to start a thread on this forum and the computer ran the disk check at startup.
I dont know if maybe its the ram, as ram errors can slowly damage a HD or what.
Also when I ran perfmon it gave me this error:
"The device, Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller, is disabled. If this device is no longer used it may be intentionally disabled. The Plug and Play ID for this device is 7."
This is listed as a network adapter in device manager. Maybe some sort of conflict caused it to deactivate or BSOD.
Please help.
