From my research, I found that the UpdatusUser account is completely inoccuous, but if you want to remove it, then follow these steps shown in the image:

Right now, I'd say that since you aren't 100% sure of the source of those games, with the exception of Steam, I would uninstall every single one. Even then, assumming some of them might have been 'cracks', its possible that some malicious code piggy-backed off these cracks and may be sitting elsewhere in your system.

If, after uninstalling everything that you cannot be sure about, your system is still problematic, you may have to consider a CLEAN install.

With some 200 games he probably did you no favors and got a good install crappified. Best bet is to do as I previously suggested, get a good clean install. Clean Install Windows 7
Don't use AVG nor McAfee, both cause issues. try MS Security Essentials, download from link in my sig.

With that many games being installed,
then I agree with Britten.

Perform a clean install.
