Random freezes/hangs/black&white screens

(I dont know where to post this) Hi, I hope someone can help me with my recent computer problems. I have a Packard Bell ixtreme M3720, it has Windows 7 64 bit already on it, I have no Windows disk due to this. My computer did work great for 6-7 months, no problems nothing wrong, now the last few weeks, my computer suddenly went from good working to, freezing/hangs with almost every single thing I do, whether that is using explorer, watching a dvd or youtube, or playing games, it just freezes/hangs for 2secs or for as long as 2-5 mins, also with this sometimes my screen goes blank, white or black. I've done a clean install to factory defaults, no luck, it still goes on. Drivers updated, all though I couldnt find all drivers on the manufactures sites, so I may have some not updated. Its getting so fustrating these days, no solution found on forums seems to work, its this bad that I can hardly do anything anymore on my computer without this going on every single sec/min. Oh, when I do a check disk, it will hang at 98% on stage 5, it just wont go any further, it also doesnt seem to find any errors or corrupted files. I hope someone with better knowledge than me can help me find whats wrong and help me to solve it, ty.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

A few pre-lim questions. Is this a desktop or laptop? What it the actual make and model number? Looking at make and model in your post and doing a google search, it comes back as both desktop and notebook..very odd. Does the PC have onbaord graphics or an add on GPU if a desktop? Are you sure you have the latest driver for the GPU whether it be onboard or add on card?

Windows 7 64 bit

Hi, sorry I still have computer problems, couldnt even stay online long enough to respond back. My packard bell is a desktop, not a notebook/laptop, this confussed me as well when trying to find whats wrong with it on the net as it came up with notebooks often more than pc, which of course isnt what I was looking for.

I still hope this can be fixed, but slowly getting to the point that I think I should bring it away for fixing whats wrong with it, because its also getting slow at starting up programms and even with starting up the computer it takes like 4-10 mins for it to show the windows logo.

There is no dust in the case, but my Nvidia card seems to get really warm, so it might be a bad one. I dont know at this point of what I could do more to get it back to work as it did, it just locks up/ hangs/ freezes and getting very slow at random, even in safe mode, it didnt show anything wrong, no virus, no malware or anything, no warnings in logs.

Still maybe someone knows what I could try, maybe I havent tried yet, if nothing helps I think Ill be forced to save up and get this looked at.

First thing to do is to rule out any malware/spyware on your system. Run malwarebytes, adaware and spybot S&D (free to download) and see what they find.

Windows 7 64 bit

I have spybot, nothing came up as usual, also MSE didnt catch anything (both in safe mode and normal). Just about 10 mins ago, my pc decided to crash with a BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. It did reboot, but now everything gets slow, and I am getting more and more "not responding" messages every few mins or so, makes it hard to even type this message, or doing anything at all without pulling my hair out of fustration.
