I have dual boot Ubuntu 11.04 and Windows 7 and now i cant boot Windows it says Windows can not start the installation process.

Could you tell me exactly how you installed Ubuntu in your dual boot? Did you use Wubi Installer or install the OS on a separate partition?

I put in the installation disk for 11.04 then click install Ubuntu side by side Windows 7.

Right, okay. So you can boot into Ubuntu, but not Windows 7? Does the Grub Boot Loader appear on startup? This should be the screen which gives you an option of booting into Windows 7 or Ubuntu.

So the boot loader does appear? In that case, what does pressing Enter on Windows 7 do? Does the Windows sign appear, computer shutdown, error message etc?

It says Setup beginning then a popup says Windows could not start installation process.

Boot to Ubuntu, examine the disk structure and give more details on current partitioning of disk if possible.
Is there a 'System Reserved' partition ? Is Windows partition the first on disk ?
Which partition is marked as active ?

Hm, it'll definitely be an Ubuntu problem then. Or the Grub Boot Loader at the very least.
