    BSOD occurring randomly

Ran Memtest86+ but no errors were detected; I've also tried updating a few drivers but so far nothing's worked. Sometimes I get the BSOD; other times my computer just restarts randomly. I don't remember installing anything recently that could be the cause of this.

I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1. The original OS was Vista; 7 was obtained via an upgrade disk. My system is two years old. Since I don't have the retail disk, I haven't re-installed Windows or anything like that.

Thanks in advance for any help~

Old drivers and your Symantec (three years old)

    These need updating
    Code:
    mcdbus.sys 2/24/2009 6:34:07 AM fffff880`05829000 fffff880`05865880 0x0003c880 0x49a3cd1f
    point64k.sys 5/8/2009 4:53:29 AM fffff880`0456e000 fffff880`0457c000 0x0000e000 0x4a03f309
    nvlddmkm.sys 5/14/2009 4:48:07 PM fffff880`0589a000 fffff880`063a1b00 0x00b07b00 0x4a0c8387
    GEARAspiWDM.sys 5/18/2009 8:17:04 AM fffff880`04424000 fffff880`04431000 0x0000d000 0x4a1151c0
    nvstor64.sys 6/22/2009 6:23:37 PM fffff880`00c00000 fffff880`00c3e000 0x0003e000 0x4a400469
    SYMEVENT64x86.SYS 6/24/2009 4:19:12 PM fffff880`040fc000 fffff880`04132000 0x00036000 0x4a428a40
    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

I would remove and replace the Symantec with Microsoft Security Essentials.
