Windows Startup Repair - not working - please help!

PLEASE help. my computer, a windows netbook, i think caught a virus. The internet started spazzing out and when I restarted it, it would give me an option of booting the computer with regular settings or start up repair. Everytime i choose regular settings, it takes a good ten minutes and then says the computer could not be booted.
So when I try start up repair, it just goes to a blue screen (like some type of blue wallpaper) and nothing happens. I've waited an HOUR to see if anything happens and it doesnt.
PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS. I am a writer and I cannot access my 250 pages that i have written! And please don't lecture me on saving my work, I had emailed it to myself chapter by chapter but not in one whole document...so i really need to access my story! PLEASE HELP I am PANICKING!!!!!

Do you have the Windows 7 installation DVD ? If yos, very good ! If no, Download the appropriate version of Repair Disk and burn it in a disk , and run startup repair for at least three separate times with restarts , and report back with the results.

    Win7 Repair Disk Download

    Startup Repair

Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times

    EDIT :
Fill up the system specs for obtaining better support .

I've tried safe mode and it just goes back the main menu and says Windows failed to reboot. And my computer is a Netbook Mini, it doesn't have anywhere to put a CD. :/ I have no clue what to do. Is it a harddrive problem? Is it unfixable? :///

Run the repair disk from a pen drive then .

Boot Windows 7 System Repair Disc from USB Using Grub4Dos

You need not to follow steps one and two, as you are using a downloaded iso file.

Did you try a system restore from a restore point - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Start-System-Restore-from-a-command-prompt That should leave all your user files intact.
