Computer not booting, startup repair won't work

    @Jonathan_King I'm also glad my serial key worked! I just used the one on the sticker underneath my laptop and strangely it worked! I didn't think you could activate windows with an OEM key? Maybe Microsoft lets you now... Is it called an OEM key if your compy is preinnstalled?

    Yes, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is what companies like Dell and Toshiba are. They install the OEM version of Windows on their systems, and include the OEM product key on the bottom. That's why they include the sticker - so you can reinstall if need be.

    I gave you the steps which explain how to do this three weeks ago. Did you even bother to read them? THe link explains how to reinstall with Product Key on COA sticker.

    @gregrocker At the time I was very flustered about what was happening to my comp, so I probably wasn't paying attention to your steps, sorry. But it's all better now :)
