BSOD upon shutting down, error 0x000000c2
Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ?
- the original installed OS on the system? Yes
- an OEM or full retail version?
- OEM = came pre-installed on system
- Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer
- What is the age of system (hardware)? Less than one month.
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Installed by manufacturer
System hardware is HP Pavilion dm4t-2100 CTO Notebook PC with Intel CORE i3 processor. External devices include IOGEAR Bluetooth 2.1 Adapter, Logitech Wireless Nano Mouse adapter, and HP USB TV Tuner, all connected via an external 7-port USB hub by Belkin.
The crash occurred shortly after I had clicked the "Shut Down" button in the Start Menu. The event was never recorded in the log. There has never before been a problem with shutting down Windows via the normal method.
Immediately after dumping the memory, the system rebooted and prompted me to enter Safe Mode.
"The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000c2 (0x0000000000000099, 0xfffffa800a025010, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 101511-23587-01."
