Constant BSOD, system hanging, freezes and more - Urgent help needed.
I recently built my own computer on the 15th of October. It was all working fine until about the 16th. I would get constant Stop Errors. Some of the most common errors include:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
0x0000007e
'ataport.sys'
I also get a few BSOD's which contain no specified error.
Upon loading Windows 7, it regularly likes to 'hang' or freeze on unexpected occasions. Resulting in me having to restart the system entirely.
I have attached a .rar file from the Minidump folder. The debugging tools wouldn't install on my PC (For some unknown reason, according to Microsoft )
Edit: After opening one of the Dump files, it was all encrypted. Which I guess I would need the debugging tools to interpret correctly.
The specifications of the PC are:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
ASUS M4A87TD (Not the EVO or the USB3, just the normal M4A87TD).
Phenom II x4 980 @ 3.7Ghz
8GB Corsair XMS3 1333Mhz (2x4Gb)
GTX 550 Ti 1GB GDDR5
Atrix 650w PSU
Samsung Spinpoint 1TB HDD
Samsung SH-S223C 22x SATA DVD RW
All of the latest drivers have been installed for the hardware.
I have run memtest86 for about an hour on both modules of the RAM. No errors were conceived on either of them.
I ran Prime95 for 3 hours, with the CPU load on 100%, using 7GB of RAM. It didn't crash once.
I also ran FurMark for 2 hours. My GTX 550 Ti peaked at 80 Degrees Celsius but no crashes occurred there either.
I would really, really appreciate any advice, fixes or solutions anyone can give me. I planned on this PC lasting me a good two/three years before needing an upgrade.
Thanks,
Dan.
