Multiple BSOD Errors Recently

Win32k.sys ATIdriver(I fixed this one but it was the first one that started) and now something to do with PAGE_FILE_NON_PAGE_FAULT

Hopefully you guys can help me solve these crashes. It usually happens when I play video games. Dota 2, CSS, Battlefield 3 etc.

The computer is about 2 years old including the parts except my graphics card will be updated this wednesday. It is a 64bit Windows 7 Ultimate. AMD Quad core processor 4gb of ram, ATI RADEON 4870x2(Upgrading to 6950)

If you need anymore information i'll gladly provide it

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian

there are several things that need fixing. Any one of which can cause your BSOD's

1-ASACPI.SYS

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

Please visit this link: ASUS teK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE

Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.SYS file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

2- Old drivers
Code:
ASACPI.sys 3/27/2005 10:30:36 PM fffff880`053f7000 fffff880`053ff000 0x00008000 0x42476c4c
pcouffin.sys 12/5/2006 10:39:30 AM fffff880`04383000 fffff880`04397380 0x00014380 0x457584a2
LVUSBS64.sys 5/10/2007 12:21:07 AM fffff880`0645e000 fffff880`06468900 0x0000a900 0x46429db3
adfs.SYS 6/26/2008 4:52:37 PM fffff880`078c8000 fffff880`078e0000 0x00018000 0x48640195
tap0901.sys 11/19/2008 2:22:35 PM fffff880`04376000 fffff880`04383000 0x0000d000 0x4924596b
cpuz132_x64.sys 3/26/2009 7:17:23 PM fffff880`07911000 fffff880`07919000 0x00008000 0x49cc0d03

3-SPTD.sys

Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

Use this SPTD uninstaller DuplexSecure - Downloads DuplexSecure - FAQ

when you're done you can use this Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) in its place.

When you have fixed these we can find the underlying cause.

How To Find Drivers:
Quote:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads
