    1st time BSOD playing Flight Simulator X


    Hi Guys got my 1st ever BSOD while playing Flight Simulator X.Actually got BSOD when i minimised FSX and clicked on speccy to check my CPU temp, the system hang up and suddenly BSOD.I am attaching the relevant zip files.

    The system info is as follows:

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
    Dell OEM version.
    Laptop is less than 1 year old.
    Reinstalled OS in march this year.

    Oh an update i just checked html report and it says no anti virus installed which is incorrect.I am running Norton Anti virus 2012.

    still no reply Just kidding..

    Hope someone guides me to the proper cause behind my laptop BSOD.

    I am marking this thread as solved since no one replied & had a check on attached dump files.And also i didn't get BSOD again after this incident.

BSOD happened a couple of hours into a flight in Microsoft FSX. Same BSOD error message happened trying to run a CPU stress test (recomended here). Computer is a little over 3 years old, no parts changed since I built it.
The PC was built by Scan Computers, Bolton, England just over a year ago and has been fine until the last few weeks. Today was the worst with 3 BSODs in 30 minutes. I use the PC exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Whilst taxiing out to the runway and 15 minutes later (after a reboot)...
Have a fairly powerful gaming computer to run FSX. My CPU is overclocked to 4.6. The only way to get really good performance out of FSX is to overclock as much as one can. The computer only BSODs when running FSX. Uploading the following: Screen Capture ASUS AI3 Results from SF Diagnostics
As the topic suggests I had a BSOD running FSX probably due to my overclock not perfectly stable yet. What I would like to know is how likely it is that a BSOD leave some corrupt files behind? Reason I ask is I have an image of my system partition and also a complete backup of my FSX folder...
