    Righto, I think this is now sorted.

    I ran Memtest86+ for 7 passes, IntelBurnTest and also gave OCCT's CPU:Lnpack a whirl. Everything looks rock solid and stable.

    It seems as if there is already an automatic overclock going on by virtue of some setting in the BIOS. I just need to get my terminology in place...
