Windows 7 (64x) unresponsive apart from open window/application

Hey I'll just like to say I'm new here, also I would like to state I'm no nood but also no guru at all of this, any help is appreciated.

My problem is that when I run windows 7 Ultimate (64x) on my 4gb of ram and a fairly descent graphic family chip-set, is that when I boot up the left and right mouse buttons swap their rolls, e.g right click = left click and vise versa, the way I have found to sort this out is to log on, then log off and then log back on again, simple but annoying, also when I sort the mouse buttons out I will just be using my broswer Mozilla Arora beta 9.0sa and then sundenly the whole system will become unresponsive apart from the browser Aurora, this happens after about 10 minutes, the way I have found out how to temporarily fix this is to press CTRL+ALT+DLT and start the Task manager select the following application I would like to run and then press "switch to" button, the system is from there on responsive until 5 or so minutes have passed then everything but the open application will become unresponsive. The problem still happens on any program I use not just the browser.

Any idea's on what may be causing this, any help or advice will be greatly appreciated thanks.

    Hello and Welcome!

First I would recommend to Run SFC SCANNOW and see if it finds any issues and repairs it. Try to login under Safe Mode and see if you have similar issues. Check the Event Viewer and see if you see any errors.

    Report us back with results.
