Random BSOD's - Mem Management, ntfs.sys, etc

    yes, yes i did, it says "installer encountered an error : 0x8007000d, the data is invalid", did you know why? :)

    Could either be an update installer problem or a problem with the download. Try re-downloading the tool

    thanks zig zag :) i re-downloaded the installer and its worked, i've update the old driver and remove avast, but still i got mem management bsod recently, do i need to update to sp 1? if yes where to download?

    If you are having new BSOD's please upload the DMP files

    hey zig zag i have installed the readiness tool and i have downloaded the sp 1 update but when i try to install the sp 1 the install was not successful, error invalid data in the install details, why is that?

    Many posts ago you were to have run Driver verifier and update the old drivers. I havent seen the verifier results nor are the drivers updated. We need to eliminate those before we can go any further with these.

    This most recent crash was probably caused by memory management but which driver we wont know till verifier catches it,

    okay then zigzag, i'll do the computer with the driver verifier like you said in your previous post. but somethings crossing my mind, can i re-install windows in my laptop? because i dont have the CD, it's OEM.

    You cant re-install unless you get an image from somewhere but you should be able to restore it to factory settings. See your owners manual for directions.

    if i chose to restore to factory settings, then what is the minus for me zigzag? despite losing my data.
