BSOD, checking email/web browsing, error 0x0000003b
I have been receiving a BSOD System_Service_Exception for the past few weeks. I tried to do some troubleshooting on my own, and realized that AVG was clashing with my other AV, so I uninstalled AVG and the crashes became less frequent. Now my computer is acting up again, though the cause must be different as AVG is no longer on my system.
The crash frequently occurs when I am on my web browser, Chrome and Firefox on separate occasions. In fact, my computer suffered a BSOD no more than 40m ago while I was checking my e-mail. The system blames afd.sys on the previous two occasions. I've already spent a lot of time trying to figure it out, and decided it was time to ask for help.
OS: Win7 Professional 64-bit, OEM
Age (hardware): 22months old
Age OS: I have never re-installed, but I have restored to factory settings a few times. The latest restore was completed 6-7 days ago.
I have packaged my system health report, Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2, and my minidump folder (though I think it may be redundant; please let me know if it is).
Thank you for your time.
EDIT: my system health report says that there is my AV isn't detected, and that if I have one installed I should let action center know to stop checking. Action center detect my AV perfectly fine though, so I don't really know what that problem is, and I'm not sure if this information is relevant but I figured I should say something. Thanks again.
