    BSOD when trying to watch videos or game


    I get BSOD when I'm trying to watch videos or play games.

    Hi -

    10 of the 11 BSODs were VERIFIER_ENABLED, but named no 3rd party driver. Unknown hardware failure is the likely cause.

    I ran memtest86+ prior to posting. I forgot to include that in my original post. Ran it over a few days. The first stick went 21 passes with 0 errors. The second stick went 25 passes with 0 errors. The only thing I noticed was the second stick speed did not show up correctly. It showed up as 200MHz DDR400, when my RAM is DDR3-1333 (PC3 10666).

    That is odd.

    The dumps point to hardware; which piece = unknown.

    How does RAM show in BIOS?

    Run CPU-Z - CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

    "SPD" tab - check both sticks.
