BSOD happening few times - various errors displayed.

    Hi,

I have some problems with BSOD. It can happen few times a day, and it can appear after a week without problems. Usually it happened when I use the internet, but yesterday, for the first time it happened 2 minutes after I turned on the computer, without doing anything.

    My system:
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual 4600+ cpu
    Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2H motherboard
    ATI radeon 2100
win 7 ultimate X32 OEM (installed on a HD about a year ago)

The hardware is about 2 years old (I think).

I updated all the drivers without any positive result.

    Files are attached.

    I will appreciate the help.

    Thanks.

    Hi.

Update these old software\drivers starting from VcommMgr.sys

VcommMgr.sys = Bluetooth VcommMgr Driver (IVT BlueSolei) May not be compatible with Win7

    Download IVT Software

Update the software\driver if possible,if not uninstall it.

A good way to update your ATI is...

Download the most recent software\driver for your ati AMD Graphics Drivers & Software

    Uninstall
ati software\driver,restart in safe mode, run driver sweeper, choose only AMD-Display and clean, restart in normal mode.

    Install the new ati software\driver,restart.

    Update
    DirectX

Finish and post back with results.

This is strange. I know I updated ATI and AMD during last couple of days.

I'll do it again and report.

Should I run the tests and attach an new file hwen I'm done?

No. After that we must wait and see if the problem solved.

I'm not sure how to uninstall the drivers, since they don't appear to be on the list of installed softwares.

Do I use the "uninstall" option in the "device manager"?

You told me to uninstall ati and reinstall after using drivesweep in safe mode.

these drivers mentioned in your first post belong to the ivt software (according to the list you reffered me to and it is said there that all of them may be incompatible with win 7) which i can't update so I want to uninstall it.

    VcommMgr.sys
    btnetdrv.sys
    BTHidMgr.sys
    blueletaudio.sys

none of those drivers (or the ivt software) appear on the list of installed programs when i use the "Programs and Features" app of the control panel, sp I have no idea how i can uninstall them. The only way I could find is to uninstall the ivt bluetooth driver using the device manager.

As to the other drivers - usbfilter.sys is part of the amd chipset drivers that I'm updating and the instructions regarding the "atikmdag.sys" are: ATI Video driver (remove the Catalyst Control Center and only install the Display Driver).

    Am I wrong?

oh - and another thing - I tried to enter safe mode but I can't do that. I'm getting a message telling me one of my discs need to be checked for consistency and when I cancell it the windows starts and I can't get to safe mode.

That points to your Hard Disk, don't cancel the Disk check as it might fix bad sectors.
Run an HDD test with Seatools
