Generally SATA port0 is used for the OS drive.
It can be changed to other ports with no ill affects, but I would keep it on port0 if possible.
If the right RealTemp window is idle temps and you have a stock Intel CPU cooler, then it's about right.
Check the temps when your system is maxed out.

Your max recommended temp is 67.9°C for Tcase (your CPU case) add 5°C for max core temps, 72.9°C is max core temp for your CPU.
My i5 750 is OC'ed and runs Prime95 at 57°C, so no real need to have your system running above 60°C.
That is a good way to test the SSD, move the OS image to a HDD and un plug the SSD. This should tell you if there are any issues with the SSD.
