ATI Driver BSOD???....The Sequel, please help!
About a month ago I had this BSOD issue that was attributed to ATIKMag.sys (an ATI Graphics Driver). I thought I solved the problem as a few weeks of playing high spec games/ and being on the PC for hours wouldn't cause a BSOD.
But in the past 2 weeks it seems to have come back. The problem didn't appear as frequently as before, but it still appears regularly. Interestingly it often Blue Screens during youtube video playback
* I have latest drivers,
*I have latest Bios
*I have done Memtest- my memory sticks came out fine
*I only have the ATI drivers installed (not AMD's bloated Catalyst Control Software manager)
*I haven't added any new hardware in the last few weeks
*Can people give me any pointers. on BSOD screen it frequently references
dxgMMS1.SYS
my system
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
8GB DDR3 Ram
700 Watt PSU
AMD Phenom II x4 'Black edition' 3.2Ghz
ATI Radeon 5670 1GB RAM
600 GB Hard Drive
Any help would be appreciated
