    Hello, I really need help with this computer. I had this computer for a little over a year and since the beginning had this blue screen problem. I later on formatted the computer but the blue screen problem will not go away. I really wish someone could help me fix the problem. Thanks

    kll19,
    Your problems are...

    * Network driver NETw5s64.sys from early 2009

    Please reinstall with the newest available.

    * Mcaffee

    McAffee is a frequent cause of BSOD's.
    I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials at least to test.

    How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee consumer products using the McAfee Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR.exe)

    Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

    * You also need to update to Sp-1

    First please run SURT > System Readiness Update Tool.

    Ensure you install the correct 64 or 32bit option for your system.

    Download the System Update Readiness Tool (64 bit)
    Download the System Update Readiness Tool (32 bit)
