In the absence of any other directions i may just buy a new hdd and install a system image on it i made the other day.
last chance to guide me before i strike out blindly and try random fixes

(my only concern with this will be whether the system image i do have is corrupted or not)

ok so i've been testing my 3 sticks of memory overnight each night while troubleshooting the SSD when im actually around. Did the third and final stick earlier and it error'd within 5 minutes . the other 2 seem ok and i've tried different slots with those 2 already to clear the slots.

I'll run the computer tonite on just 4gig and see how it goes stability wise.

ok well 2 days of running on 4 of my original 6 gigs and no BSODS. i've put it through as many tasks as i can including the actual exe listed for collecting BSODS which ironically was a garaunteed way of causing one for my particular problem.

can confirm it was definitely the stick of ram causing these errors.
